About JSON Patch

Diff remains the visual comparison tool. This page is the RFC 6902 artifact: copy it into APIs that speak JSON Patch.
add, remove, and replace cover the operations Diff already emits. move/copy/test are not applied in this version.

Root replace?
An empty path replace/add replaces the whole document.
