ABOUT
About jq Playground
Type a jq filter such as .orders[] | select(.status == "paid"). The document never leaves the device.
JSON Path remains the JSONPath / Pointer page. This page is labeled jq on purpose so the two query languages stay on separate URLs.
Supported subset: identity, .field, .[index], .[], pipe, select, map, keys, length, type, first, last, values, comparisons, and / or / not.
This is not GNU jq and not a WASM build. Unsupported filters fail with a clear error. Samples use order A-1042.

FAQ
Is this JSONPath?
No. JSON Path keeps JSONPath and Pointer. This page is jq.
Full GNU jq?
No. A local subset: path, iterate, pipe, select, map, keys, length.
WASM?
Not in this version, so the rest of the site stays light.
Is data uploaded?
No.
Example filter?
.orders[] | select(.status == "paid") on the A-1042 sample.
Why a separate page?
So “jq” does not sit inside the JSONPath title.
